Jessica Pons is an Argentinean-American photographer and filmmaker from Los Angeles, raised between LA and Buenos Aires. Moving back and forth shaped her early curiosity for memory, place, identity, and the ways family history and personal narratives shape who we become.

She holds a B.A. in Photojournalism from San Francisco State University and is currently in the Directing program at UCLA extension.

She creates thoughtful, human-centered imagery for commercial brands, corporate clients, organizations, and leading publications. Her work combines a background in photojournalism with a documentary sensibility and polished commercial production, spanning portraiture, lifestyle, branded content, and short-form films. She is an ongoing contributor to The New York Times, The Guardian, The Washington Post, and other publications.

Jessica enjoys telling stories across different mediums. Her short film Paper Boats received the Best First Film Award at the 2023 DOC LA International Film Festival, and in 2021, she produced the long-form NPR Latino USA episode Tango Resiste, exploring the hidden roots of tango and Argentina's history of resilience.

Available for hire worldwide. Bilingual in English and Spanish.
